Lonely Statue
Paint those inflated smiles
all across the sky,
and watch them float into the sun.

For she looked so happy
as she watched those rose pedals drift away.

As I tangle myself in tongue-twisted strings,
She is floating like a bubble in my orbit.

Forever my lonely statue,
lost beneath the city.

Diminished light of my life,
where has it gone?
She has stolen all of my mind,
